Bishop John Kun Kun
Bishop John Kun Kun has been in full time ministry since 1992. He served as Zonal Coordinator for the Liberia Scripture Union for four years (1993-1997), supervising over 28 schools in the Gardnersville and Barnersville area, Monrovia. He also served as Bible Instructor at several high schools. He attended the Monrovia Bible Training Center 1992-1994 and was part of the Special Forces Class. He also graduated from the Word of Faith Bible Institute in 1995. He was trained by Church of God World Mission in the Ministerial Enrichment Program (MEP) which is an extension of the Church of God Ministerial Training Program in Cleveland, Tennessee, USA. He has attended many international leadership seminars and conferences in several countries around the world.
He is the Senior Pastor of the City of Light Church of God, E.J. Goodridge Estate, Barnersville, Liberia. He served as Bishop of Church of God missions in Sierra Leone and Guinea from 2006-2010, Church of God Mali from 2010 to 2014, and is an Apostle with Church of God Africa. He is the mission and Evangelism Director of the Soul Winning Evangelistic Ministries Inc. He is the 2nd Vice President of the Haven of Rest Ministers Network with headquarters in South Africa. He served as 1st Vice President of the Liberia Fellowship of Full Gospel Ministers and Ministries for 6 years and subsequently served as President for the Full Gospel Fellowship for seven years (2014-2021). Bishop Kun is currently the Ambassador to the Nations for RLM Resurrections Life Ministries with headquarters in Canada.
He is the International Coordinator of the Africa on Fire Crusades Ministries with headquarters in Ibadan, Nigeria. He is the founder of the Wealthy Place Foundation which has a mission to liberate the oppressed. He is an international conference, crusade and revival speaker and a writer – the author of “Recovery from Spiritual Bondage”. He is also an international conference speaker and receives tons of television, radio and online speaking engagements annually. He has traveled throughout Africa, United States, Asia and Australia, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ with signs and wonders. Some places that have been blessed by Bishop Kun’s ministry include the Pacific, Central and South America including Mexico, the Islands including Bahamas and Dominican Republic and Europe etc. He has been organizing several mega crusades around Liberia and Africa, especially in inaccessible zones. Many are being saved, transformed, healed and delivered from the kingdom of darkness. Annually, Bishop Kun hosts the “Total Freedom Crusade” around Liberia which ushers thousands of people to Christ and have liberated thousands of oppressed people. He is married to Pastor Mrs. Yvonne Kun with three daughters and many spiritual children in Liberia and around the world.
Bishpop John Kun Kun’s ministry is a blessing to Liberia and Africa especially. He has spearheaded the liberation of many demonic possessed people and places in Liberia and through him ten of thousands have been won to Christ. Prominent of these are the liberation of the famous demonic Cotton Tree in Margibi County, Liberia and the leading to Christ of the famous former General Butt Naked (Now Evangelist Joshua Milton Blahyi) who was a key figure during Liberia’s civil war.
